Welcome to the Wisconsin Moto Guzzi Riders, Inc. WMGR is nonprofit corporation dedicated to the motorcycle marquee of the world famous brand of MOTO GUZZI motorcycles. WMGR was established as a state Moto Guzzi club in the Fall of 1982 and has operated continuously since then. We are a group of Moto Guzzi owners and our main purpose is to promote Moto Guzzi motorcycles and to share our love and passion of the brand with other Moto Guzzi owners and other motorcycle riders as well.

We have members all over the state of Wisconsin and meet at various locations through out the state 6 times a year. We have a very casual format and try to act as an outlet for Guzzi owners to get together with one another and share information, tech tips, parts sources, and socialize. All our winter meetings (Nov., Jan., and March) are held in the Beaver Dam area because of its mostly central location in the state. Our other 3 meetings are held in various locations in other areas of the state at restaurants or members homes. Lunch and tire kicking starts at noon and the meetings begin at 1:00 PM. Once a year in November we have a Member Appreciation Dinner (club picks up the tab). This dinner also includes annual elections of officers. There is also a club newsletter published 6 times a year that includes club information, rally ads, meeting locations, club contacts, and a free for sale and ad section.

Our major undertaking of each year is our annual Wisconsin Moto Guzzi Rally held at the beginning of August each year. 2012 will mark our 28th annual rally. Our average attendance runs in the neighborhood of 200 people from various parts of the country. We invite everyone and all brands of motorcycles to join us for our annual rally, which is held in the southwest part of Wisconsin in the Mineral Point area.

Not a Moto Guzzi owner at this time? No problem. We also offer enthusiast memberships at the same fee as our regular memberships - $10.00 per single, $12.00 couple per year (voting rights are NOT included with the enthusiasts membership).

Hope this gives everyone some kind of an idea of what the WMGR is all about. We welcome members and guests at all of our meetings. Come and check us out. We think you will be glad you did!
